Ritter Investigation: December 1, 2001

Please note that this house is not finished and is still being renovated. Although we could see nothing paranormal in these photos, we have other photos on our web site about the Ritter Investigation that arouse great curiousity.

HISTORY:

The newest homeowners Bob & Shelley Ritter have done extensive research on their new home and have learned that it was built in the 1980's by a retired judge. Back on November 15, 1992, this retired judge died of a heart attack leaving the house to his most recent wife of 5 years. Since the house was in the judge's name, his wife allowed the house to go back to the bank.

Later on another family purchased the 4214 square foot home & continued building & improving where the judge had left off. Eventually in a short period of time, the owners then gave up on the renovations and abandoned the house in 1996.

Recently in 2001, this beautiful home which sits on 1 1/2 acres, was purchased by Bob and Shelley Ritter who have been spending time dedicated to completing the house. We do not know all the history of the land, but research is still on-going.

Bob & Shelley have been trying to complete the house and they have on several occasions witnessed several things. Some of these things are slamming doors, things moving around by themselves, voices and sightings of apparitions throughout the house and property.

Shelley is a psychic and has had contact with the spirits of several people. One paticular she has perceived is that of a judge who claims to have built the house.

Research was also done by PICO as to the original owners (the judge,) but due to legal isues & privacy concerns we are not going to post the previous owners information on the internet.

Bob & Shelley Ritter do want PICO to note that even though their new house has many spirits present, they are not AFRAID to live in the home and do not feel threatned by any of the spirits there.

SUMMARY:

So far 3 seperate investigations have been done at this location and all with great reslts. Investigation dates are 12-1-01, 12-8-01 & 12-30-01. Investigations were conducted some time after approximately 9pm.

The first investigation was more of a preliminary nature. EVP recordings were taken and so were photographs. EVP & photographs yielded positive results.

On the second investigatoin, excellent video was recorded in 2 of the upstairs bedrooms. The video revealed illuminating orbs in motion, one part in paticular where the orbs were so illuminated they looked like a pair of feet walking. In the master bedroom, several more illuminating orbs in motion were captured on video as well. PICO is very proud of our results with this location in all 3 areas of data collected, especially with the video as we feel this is the best footage we have recorded on film so far.

We were fortunate enough to have one of our psychics present (Shelley) who is also one of the homeowners. Shelley communicated with several spirits there, some of which were not to friendly when our EVP was analyzed. Photographic evidence has been posted on our web site of this location and since PICO has been invited back out to the Ritter house we are looking forward to conducting future follow-up investigations soon.

We want to thank the homeowners, Bob & Shelley Ritter for inviting us into their home and we have even volunteered to help them do some renovations on the home. What's so great about this location is while we are working we can leave the camera's rolling!
