Paranormal Investigators of Central Oklahoma or P.I.C.O. was formed in June of 2000 in recognition of the need for a serious organization of ghost hunters and paranormal researchers in the multi-county area surrounding Oklahoma City. P.I.C.O. is a non-profit organization dedicated to the serious pursuit of collecting scientific evidence of ghosts, multi-level hauntings, poltergeist phenomena, and other occurences of a paranormal origin.

Before we begin, it should be noted that this organization does not condone the use of Ouija Boards, seances, or mediums. Once again let me reiterate that our purpose is to collect scientific evidence through photography and recordings. During investigations we abide by a strict set of protocols to insure that our results are not tainted. Bear in mind that no one wants to believe more than us, but we must retain a healthy bit of skepticism. We will be the first to discredit an otherwise anomalous photo if we know that protocols were broken (i.e. camera strap, smoking, etc...). This organization was founded as a serious venture, not just a hobby. The members of P.I.C.O. are mostly blue-collar workers who devote of their own free time to gather the material present here. We take our investigations very seriously and are quite proud of our results.
